2024 has been a good year for horror films at the box office. We’ve seen surprises like “Longlegs” and “Terrifier 3” outperform their predictions. And now, we have “Smile 2,” a sequel to a film that did way better than people predicted just two years ago.

As seen in the trailer, “Smile 2” tells the story of a pop star who is now the subject of inexplicable events involving crazed people smiling at her. Haunted by these visions, compounded with the stresses of fame, the pop star has to dive deep into her past to figure out how to get rid of this monster.
The cast includes Naomi Scott, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Ray Nicholson, Dylan Gelula, Raúl Castillo, and Kyle Gallner. “Smile 2” is written and directed by Parker Finn.
