Ever since its first season debuted in 2017, there hasn’t been many series that can come close to “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” as far as critical acclaim goes. The Amazon Prime Video original series about a housewife-turned-comedian in the late-‘50s has not only been a viewership hit for the streaming service but an Emmy-winning behemoth, as it’s collected an astonishing 8 trophies (out of 14 nominations) in 2018 and is already nominated for another 20 this year.
Now, as we approach the fall, it’s time to look ahead to Season 3 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” as Amazon was kind enough to release a new teaser trailer, as well as an official December release date. In the newest batch of episodes, the series finds Midge and Susie going on tour and bringing the comedy all across the country.
The series stars Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, and new cast member Sterling K. Brown. ‘Maisel’ comes from the creative mind of Amy Sherman-Palladino, who before this series, was probably best known for creating the series “The Gilmore Girls.” Clearly, this Amazon juggernaut has eclipsed that series as Sherman-Palladino’s finest achievement to date.
Season 3 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” debuts on Amazon Prime Video on December 6.

Midge and Susie discover that life on tour with Shy is glamorous but humbling, and they learn a lesson about show business they’ll never forget. Joel struggles to support Midge while pursuing his own dreams. Abe embraces a new mission and Rose learns she has talents of her own.
