Rumors are beginning to circulate that Keith Richards is set to reteam with his new BFF Johnny Depp on the next installment of the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” franchise, “On Stranger Tides.”
The rocker was cited as an inspiration for Depp’s loony Jack Sparrow and made an appearance in “At World’s End” as Jack Sparrow’s father. If he returns, he would reprise his role as Captain Teague and star alongside the previously announced Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane and Geoffrey Rush.
If Richards does join the production, set to shoot this summer in Hawaii, it will give Depp even more opportunity to get footage for his forthcoming documentary on the legendary rocker.
