What does it take to become a champion? The characters of “Cobra Kai” have pondered that question over five seasons of rivalries and romances. Now, Netflix’s hit series is coming to a close with a new season that promises to be its biggest and baddest. This continuation of the “Karate Kid” franchise has won over long-time fans, while introducing a new generation to the iconic story.

The project relies on an intriguing mix of cast members from the original ‘Kid’ films and franchise newcomers alike. Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, and Martin Kove are once again leading the way as their iconic characters. Macchio and Zabka also serve as executive producers. Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni DeCenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro, and Oona O’Brien round out the cast for this upcoming season.
The series’ official Season 6 synopsis:
“Picking up with Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, our senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai — the world championships of karate.”
“Cobra Kai” comes to a thrilling conclusion that will keep viewers guessing. The series’ final season will be released in three parts. Netflix premieres part one’s episodes on July 18.
