Ahhhhh Kate….an Indie snob? Superman The Man Of Steel, like all the others of this genre, are today's mythology. The ancients that looked to the gods of days of yore (Zeus, Appolo….etc), are us today. We look to see evil defeated, the heroes rising to the occasion. It reminds us, especially when it comes to Superman, that WE possess internally all the fortitude needed to "rise" as well. Plus, the entertainment factor is very cool, as well. Imagine this….a cold soda, a big bucket of popcorn and watching Superman save the world, while learning something? Dive in, my Friend! It sure beats boatloads of depressing Indie pathos…..
