'A solid distaste for the government' isn't necessarily fascist But in the Randian paradigm, the distaste is for those elements of a democratic government which embody solidarity and compassion, and defy rugged individualism and survival of the fittest. In the absence of a duly elected government, imperfect as that system may be, tyranny of the strongest will prevail. In our times that means a corporate hegemony which purports to represent liberty but is really fascism of the rich. That the working class would fall for this ploy, as with trump, is the great tragedy of our time.

Ayn Rand’s philosophy doesn’t exactly only belong on the right. it’s just extremely libertarian. TBH, The Fountainead is a pretty darn good book with or without you political leaning.
Objectivism isn’t really bad. It’s just flawed. She sees being objective as a virtue which is fine. But it’s like taking one of the many virtues out there and picking only one and basing everything in your life around that one idea.

The trailer looks like every single music video Zack Snyder ever made in the 90’s. It seriously gave me a wave of nostalgia for Mtv circa 1996 (which is not necessarily a bad thing…)
