I just saw BvS and was bored to death. Sure, lots of stuff blew up and I didn\’t care a bit about any of the characters. Most shallow superhero movie yet. It\’s a sad state for the film industry that this kind of dreck is what appeals to the masses.

Even though his explanation is completely asinine ("Oops! I killed the car the bad guys just HAPPENED to be sitting in!") no matter what reality to try to apply it in, he hits on something more substantial in that the general perception of Batman (thanks to previous media) is colored in such a way that people seem to have conveniently forgotten things like how he carried a goddamned gun in the comics for a time.

Well that\’s bs, Snyder. My 5 year old nephew could come up with better excuses. He blatantly carries a gun, aims and pulls the trigger. Or is he talking about when the criminal has the gun and batman jumps in front and aims the gun and THEN he kills people. See, he\’s not "touching" the gun, so that\’s okay. Ugh.

The Batman films have always got away (just) with dubious collateral damage, but in Snyder\’s film he straight up stabs a guy in the chest with a knife.

"Batman having to go out and sort of ‘Seven Samurai’ the Justice League together" actually does sound fun to me. I just don\’t trust Zack Snyder to do it well.
