None of the names touted are as enticing as Wright. Marvel executives shouldn't be so narrow minded and they really should try to get Edgar Wright back on board, he's probably the only one who could execute this properly at this point.

I love Wain but Reed is definitely a bigger name commercially. A few things to note: Reed had been attached as director to the original FANTASTIC FOUR so he almost boarded the Marvel train a decade ago. And the strongest pull for Wain (on Marvel's side) is that he's BFFs with Rudd (see Rudd starring in all his films, shorts etc) so that would prob make him happier with this situation as well. Plus he's never had a big crossover hit (though ROLE MODELS) came closest he def fits Marvel's M.O. despite his cult following.
