They should adopt the current Bourne franchise approach by making a stand-alone, spin-off film from Blade Runner (1982) which expands the universe of the original film and follows a new (human) hero protagonist. Perhaps it will pave the way for Harrison Ford to return as Rick Deckard down the road. They should make the meaning of life one of the film’s themes again and hopefully Vangelis will return to do the soundtrack.

I mean, come one. Blade Runner is a masterpiece. It\’s highly regarded as one of the best and most influential movies of the last 30 years. This is like somebody making a sequel to 2001: A Space Odyssey where they explain things so everything is less mysterious.

honestly, I don\’t think the general movie going public even knows about or cares about \”prometheus.\” if anything, so far \”prometheus\” has been something that has been fun for movie sites and bloggers to write about and cover every detail.

another \”blade runner\” will probably get the reception of another \”wall street.\”
