Makes sense as a business decision. Having PARIS in the title most likely sure helped sell tickets to "Midnight in Paris", Woody's highest grossing film.
If we still want to see Woody getting funding to do the movies he wants to do I have little issue with his movies being renamed to sell the allure of the city he's shooting in. Woody is not a big money earner. Hell, "Casandra's Dream" made like half a million in the states. And don't even remember if "Whatever Works" even played in theaters. The reason he had to leave the States was because he couldn't get funding.
A huge sell of his movies is how, aside from those with murder, they act as love letters to the cities they were shot in. If this movie is going to be four short films selling the joy of being in Rome then "To Rome With Love" is a fine title.

Ayyee, terrible terrible title change. I thought nothing was going to top "Killing Them Softly" but now this. "Nero Fiddled" (though I had no idea it was a common expression) was leagues better than this generic and mundane title. Woody, Woody .... no.
