Cmon. Tony is a good actor and Wong Kar Wai is an art director. But we have all seen how Tony fight since the days of TVB to Red Cliff. Watching him fight is a big joke. How can he even hope to achieve the impact made by Donnie Yen…who is actually a real martial artist and trained from young!!
Tony will only makes IP MAN looks like Wai-Siu-Bo (the famous character in the TVB drama) trying to look tough!!!

Even though I didn't like Blueberry Nights, I totally trust this guy with martial arts material and most any other material I can think of, because whatever Wong Kar Wai does, it will be done in his style of storytelling, which thus far, is inimitable. Ashes of Time is probably my favorite martial arts movie, and Wong Kar Wai seems to genuinely appreciate martial arts as a subject matter. I think we'll be in for a real treat.
