Remember when he used to talk about how TS was going to be all about character? Ah, those were the days. Last time he was talking about T5, he said something about setting it in 2010, which would totally rule out the only 2 semi-tolerable things about that movie, Anton Yelchin and Sam Worthington. He's totally out of touch with his audience and good taste.

The original film was uneven, but when it really worked it was because of its incredible free-associative visuals. It's perfect Satoshi Kon territory, with more cinematic sophistication than anything Petersen has ever directed. Terrible news.

Methinks McG is thinking wishfully at this point.
