To Hades with the fact, Motoko is CLEARLY of ASIAN decent. Two words, Dragonball: Evolution. Justin Chatwin was clearly the absolute best choice to portray Son Goku. I can't tell you how immersed I was watching the movie thinking it was a trillion times better than the original anime and manga versions. I pray to GOD Channing Tatum gets to play Bruce Lee in the upcoming bio. And Lady Snowbird should definitely go to Sandra Bullock.

This sounds like a flop. Robbie should stay away. It's a bummer that in order to truly cement your super star status, you must take on an action franchise.

I'm going to go ahead and sound like a purist and say, I rather not see a live-action remake of GITS. ESPECIALLY one coming from Hollywood! We have the animated version of it already and I think that's more than enough. Though, the closest we'll have to having a really (visually) faithful homage to that classic is the recent recreation of the opening sequence by a crew of small indie filmmakers/VFX guys. Who, from the looks of it, got it down pat! Let's leave it at that.
