I still don\’t get this thing at all. He absolutely shouldn\’t apologize. HE WAS OBVIOUSLY JOKING. People joke about Nazis all the time – just look at Woody Allen. People joke about horrible things all the effing time – its human nature. There probably isn\’t a person alive who hasn\’t made a joke about Hitler at some point in their lives. This is fucking ridiculous.

His movies are very much relevant – it\’s the controversy surrounding his statements that\’s irrelevant.

I wish everyone including The Playlist would stop acting like what he said is a big deal. This guy is so obviously not a nazi sympathiser, for crying out loud.

no one gives a shit. This guy\’s movies (at least in the US) make a million dollars, tops. Barely anyone sees them or cares about them.

Just because the guy gives dumb quotes and gets his name out in the press/blogosphere doesn\’t make his movies any more relevant.
