Hey Playlist, this movie was announced last year. Since then, on imdb, the director has changed from Friedkin to Cage himself and now neither is involved. It would be interested to learn what happened to the film.

I don't understand how these things present a viable financial model, especially 50 Cent's movies. Who the f*ck watches these pieces of sh*t?? Cheetavision. It sounds like a cartoon. He's such a goon.

Cage is a great actor, yes, he is. Friedkin can be a great director, yes, he can. Even when Bill directs for hire, "Rules of Engagement" and "the Hunted" are pretty decent movies, so I am optimist about this, even if only slightly.

Gordon Greene, Friedkin and Charlie Kaufman (c'mon Annapurna you exist to save movies like his, step on in!) are head and shoulders above anyone he's worked with since Herzog, for sure.

C'mon the resurgence was with "Bug" AND "Killer Joe"; "The Hunted" was a good popcorn flick. "Rules of Engagement", though? That's the end of my Friedkin defense.
