Critics have seriously gotten on my nerves this past year. It's like they've grown in cynicism.

Isn't the whole point of being a film critic that you LIKE movies!?

I have no interest in the Hobbit whatsoever; Tolkien's work is fundamentally un-cinematic, and becomes a bombastic, boorish mess when interpreted by someone like Jackson, who's eye lies firmly in the profits.
