I agree with Jesse.

Avatar, Hellboy, etc. You could run down a list of potentially silly ideas that don't seem like they'd translate well to film but have somehow managed to do so, sometimes effectively.

I don't think Ghost Rider is to goofy a character for the big screen. Come on a movie about 10 ft blue people that have sex by plugging each others tails into each other, which they then proceed to plug into other things, made $2billion.

Nothing is to silly to work.

I read that fine, nice job. Make sure not to doubt the almighty Cage. Ghost Rider is pulpy sure, but there's some good stories out there. Admittedly probably better for direct-to-DVD animated films, but with a plot that makes sense this could be pretty cool.

Ghost Rider had potential until drastic alterations were made (let's turn a fondness for alcohol into one for jellybeans... x_x)

Whoever made the call to have Ghost Rider's voice sound the way it did also needs to have their head examined. It didn't inspire fear or symbolize vengeance, I don't care what reality you happen to be from.

Shoving Cage out of the picture couldn't really hurt a sequel's chances of being interesting (I mean, just look at the two Hulk films). Personally, I won't miss him but what comes of it is yet to be seen.

Also, Daredevil gets an unfair shake. The director's cut of that film is actually far less painful and more interesting than what was dished out theatrically.

Edward: Your articles are very difficult to read. And how did Nicolas Cage mangle Daredevil? He didn't. You need an editor to look over this stuff before you post it.
