I swear to f***ing god I don\’t know why the hell movie websites keep posting about a movie that clearly is not going to happen and has clearly not been going to happen for some time now.

Seriously. Ghostbusters 3 is not going to happen. Between Bill Murray being clear that he\’s not going to reprise his role, the fact that the studio isn\’t going to let Ivan Reitman near the kind of budget the film would require, and that the last guys who wrote a script for it were the guys behind \”Year One\”, the movie is not going to happen. So, please, please stop reporting it as \”news\” every time some actor somewhere (and this includes Dan Akyroyd) tries to self-promote by talking up their involvement in it. Please.

I\’m going to be really disappointed if they make Ghostbusters 3 with a bunch of unknown actors as well as not bringing back Bill Murray.

Those three guys and woman that Dan Aykroyd mentioned better be hip, young, rising stars like Shia LaBeouf, Anton Yelchin or from the cast of Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill.
