I have no arguments to make. I'm just simply so excited to see this film. I think in time, Inglorious Basterds will only gain more credibility as in my humble opinion it's one of the most exciting films of all time.

Death Proof is not a revenge film. Get it right. So, even if the other films deal with revenge, well, that is what auteurs do. Quentin has said over and over that his characters are refreshingly free of morality. So sit back and watch as Quentin gives us another lesson on the history of film.

Tarantino tropes: the old actors given new life, the anachronistic music are becoming a predictable as Wes Anderson's futura font and slow-mo shot ending. And thankfully he was smart enough to ditch both for Moonrise Kingdom because he realized it was getting played out and making him look like a caricature of himself.

Not to sound like a QT fanboy, but the "revenge" criticism seems rather weak. You could say the same thing about Fincher and serial killer films, Scorsese and gangster films and Hitchcock and murderers. Every director seems to have certain subject matter they are interested in exploring. As long as they find a different way to do it each time, it's all good.

Yeah, "Death Proof" is not a revenge movie. Did you even see it? (SPOILER ALERT) Sure, the girls turn the game around on Stuntman Mike at the end, but that's just basic fighting back against a villain – something that happens in countless movies every year. Sorry, but you can't throw that in the same category as "Kill Bill" or "Basterds." It's a completely different thing.
