Everyone in the Rogue One caption looks so dead serious, it makes me wonder if it\'ll have room for aliens and droids.
The review in Disneyleaks is right on. This is the least imaginative or original Star Wars movie so far. It was just a scene-by-scene ripoff of the Episodes IV and V that was so predictable that any true Star Wars fan would feel let down that Disney decided only to reboot the original movies. It was a big disappointment.

The thing that confuses me most about ROGUE ONE is that it seems to be claiming ground already trodden by STAR WARS REBELS. One can see Ezra, Kanan, Sabine, et al going after the Death Star plans themselves. How could the two not overlap somehow? (It also begs the question of where REBELS is headed, given none of the characters show up in A NEW HOPE.)

If franchises are an inescapable reality moving forward, at the very least the Star Wars franchise is willing to release content and tell stories that aren\'t essentially elaborately budgeted CW shows such as those from the Marvel-verse. Star Wars as a universe is probably more elastic than other franchises so hopefully they\'ll take advantage of that.
