The comedian Patton Oswalt who rewrote the last two has a great pitch for it on a podcast "Nerdist Writers Panel #173" I\’m sorry I don\’t remember when in this podcast. Where Peter Parker gives away tricks technology & leaks information on other things that Norman Osborn\’s company does on the internet under the name of Spider-Man. while he also fights crime & the most of his technology based villains such as the Rhino are created by Osborn to kill him, also if I was Sony I would not trust Marvel.

The Venom project had Alex Kurtzman attached but is dead. Pepole talk of Sinister Six as a "soft" reboot but it\’s unclear what that means. Personally, I\’d like to see The Sinister Six accidentally create Carnage and go after his not for altruistic reasons of saving people but so its not linked to them. This would be in a Spiderman less world, and in the finale we see the spider bite Miles Morales, setting up a new spiderman, who can cross over into the Avengers but also do his own thing. It\’d be neat if they set in Chicago, so that New York isn\’t too crowded wi supehero figures.
