Congrats on the move. Agree about the layout. Your blog was always so clean-looking and easy to read. IW is always cluttered, which is one reason I stay away from this site when I can get most of the same info elsewhere. Maybe you\’ll pull IW kicking and screaming into the realm of less hideous design.

Also like the ease of comments compared to Blogspot. But would prefer if it was ordered chronologically, with the first comments at the top. Makes it easier to follow a conversation. Hopefully this will allow a bigger community of commenters to emerge.

Congrats on the move! The only thing I would change so far is how short the headline pages seem to be. I feel like I am clicking \”next page\” more than I did at the old url.

Will you be keeping the old site (at least with the old content). There were links to articles I\’ve been using for research purposes and I would hate to completely lose them.

There are always pros and cons to change – as a blogger this is a nice step forward but as a reader of The Playlist having more articles to look per page might be nice (even if you only have a headline/teaser for the article and click on to read more. I was definitely a scanner of the articles and read them in a hodge-podge order.

Congrats on the new space and hopefully when the \”paint it dry\” it will be even better.

Will you please, please, put more than 4 articles on the firts page?? It\’s really not that fun to clikc \’next page\’ all the time, I feel like I\’m reading less articles than on the previous blog.

Nice this move, but this looks really awful. As people mentioned before, it\’s really cluttered. There\’s also a lot more advertising, there could be very valid reasons for this, and I understand this.
What are the main reasons for this move. For me personally as a daily reader, this is not an improvement. The site has gone from nicely minimalistic to kind of chaotic and unfocused. I can still read all the nice articles, I\’m not stupid, but I don\’t see the added value.
