"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" was awesome, I'm glad the numbers improved! Rooney Mara should also be considered for an Oscar for her powerful performance as Lisbeth Salander!

Dryer: Totally agreed. Tintin was an amazingly entertaining ride that any fan of either the wonderful comics by Hergé or fans of classic Spielberg-directed adventure films should love. The truth is that America is too afraid to give Tintin a chance, unfortunately. I haven't seen Ghost Protocol yet, but I think it looks like a wonderful action film and I'll definitely check it out when it gets released here in Denmark.

TIN TIN is a far superior movie to M:I 4. I think where the problem lies is audiences hesitiation in being burned again by Spielbergs dark borish hand in his recent films and the whole Zemeckis' dead eyed CGI clunker diabocles ie. POLAR EXPRESS, BEOWULF, & CHRISTMAS. Either due to inspiration of working with a new medium or the subject matter itself but something caused for the darkness to lift in Spielberg, TIN TIN is his best film since THE LAST CRUSADE, and possibly the closest we'll ever get to seeing the Spielberg of old again. The CGI is groundbreaking and truly remarkable feat, but again its unfortunately tainted by Disney & Zemeckis. M:I 4 is a run of the mill summer blockbuster of the late 90's before the whole thing went boom, a few neat action sequences with a less than average script or dialouge; plain fodder for the masses.
