Despite that Resident Evil chick taking to twitter to bitch about her movie not getting advertising, well her movie got twice the amount of ads than 50/50. Yet 50/50 opened stronger and will do better at the U.S. box office. Why? Because it\’s actually a good movie with good reviews. *cough* unlike the Three Musketeers*cough. Concentrate on making a better movie instead of attaching the studio that was stupid enough to distribute your crappy movie.

50/50 wasn\’t a failure. It\’s made £30 million which is more than three times it budget from a drama comedy about a very difficult subject. It\’s stayed in the top 10 for 4 weeks and willl end up with a higher final total than Drive which received far more hype.

‘Margin Call’, ‘The Mighty Macs’, ‘Oranges and Sunshine’, ‘Retreat’, ‘The Reunion’ and ‘Snowmen’ should have all gotten a nationwide theatrical release and were better than this week\’s wide releases.
