once again a strange jab at Rango….
I do this shit for a living and Rango is among the best looking animated features I\’ve seen in a very long time, the story (while slightly derivative given it\’s a western) is interesting and fun, the performances are all good and technically this film is setting a new standard. Look for Rango at the Oscars next year.

Starless? Look, Battle: Los Angeles may not be a good movie at all, but Aaron Eckhart is an extremely well-known and well-regarded actor, including one of three topliners for the 3rd highest grossing movie in U.S. history in The Dark Knight. Michele Rodriguez is also a star, given Lost and Fast and the Furious.

Also, Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodgriguez probably don\’t command 8 figure paychecks. And the CGI was done by the Strause Bros., who did Skyline for 10M. Combine that with shooting in a cheaper location and it\’s probably not all bullshit.
