I won't see this. The dude is so full of it. He tries to come off as some badass with tattoos yet sings gooey pop crap.

My venom towards him is way more personal. Being a longtime Nine Inch Nails fan for a good 18 years and having own nearly everything they released and seeing them 3 times from 2006 to 2009. Maroon 5's butchering of "Closer" into a folk-lounge song offended me. Never in my life did I really want to pummel someone to a bloody pulp ever since Linkin Park destroyed "Wish". I can handle bad NIN covers but that one really pissed me off.

It's a shame they went even more crassly commercial after that. If they made a jazz-pop album I have no doubt it would be fantastic. Their Sinatra cover is awesome and their jazzier stuff is cool as shit. Now they make watered down, artificial pop garbage.
