Considering the recent Batman vs. Superman trailer, it\’s pretty obviously they are taking the franchise in an incredibly dark direction. Zack Snyder has always been criticized for overdoing it in terms of color and green screens – look at his 300 and Watchman films. Now, he\’s toned everything way back, and people criticize him again. I personally like the desaturated feel, but mainstream American viewers might not.

There\’s probably a happy medium between these two polar opposite looks that would have been the best. In the end, the color grading was not the biggest problem that Man of Steel had, though this is a pretty fascinating video and well done!
