tom hardy soesn\’t do subtle, does he? kinda like late al pacino, overacts every damn scene. not that that is bad acting, per se, but definitely overacting the part, which is ok in films like Bronson or what we\’ve seen of Fury Road. dude knows how to ham it up. however, it might not lend itself much to the subtleties of a nuanced crime drama.
