Watch: Trailer For Amateur Porn Documentary ‘Hot Girls Wanted’ Produced By Rashida Jones

Hot Girls WantedParks & Recreation” star Rashida Jones has been critical about what she sees as an increasingly sexualized culture, and it’s a position that has seen her take a fair share of heat. And that likely won’t stop with her upcoming documentary “Hot Girls Wanted,” produced by Jones, and directed by Jill Bauer and Ronna Gradus.

Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January, and acquired by Netflix, the film takes a look at the amateur porn industry, and how it trades on the aspirations of teenagers and young women, and exploits them in an industry that is only getting bigger and more mainstream each year. “…very often the women in this type of porn are just starting out, so they can’t negotiate the conditions of their employment. They show up thinking they’ll be in control and are often asked to do a particularly brutal scene—and the only way to get paid is to do it. ‘Hot Girls Wanted’ is about that slippery slope toward exploitation, even for women who choose to be in porn,” co-producer Mary Anne Franks, an associate professor at the University of Miami School of Law, told Jones in Glamour.
