I must admit, I was excited about this film when I heard they were sticking to the 2D original animation and story line of Winnie the Pooh. While watching the trailer, I was instantly brought back to childhood by the original Pooh renderings until the anachronistic Keane referenced reared its ugly head. Disney needs to make up their minds on how they are marketing this film and believe in the universal appeal of the Antique Pooh Bear cartoons. If they are going vintage with the drawings, they need to keep the rest of the aesthetic uniform. Not only would I ditch the tacky music, but would alter the inconsistent voice of Christopher Robin, and the careless use of typography. They can start by changing the bland Lucinda font that comes default with the Final Cut Pro Title Tool to something a little more playfully in the spirit of The Hungry Acre Wood!

Perhaps you\’re cursed because the first post, (yesterday) was a bit unfavorable and you\’re being given another chance. In true Pooh fashion, honey trumps vinegar.

The trailer is absolutely lovely, btw, I hope future marketing efforts don\’t push it as something your first post predicted it would be.
