Outstanding work by someone whoclearly loves the James Bond franchise. It certainly eclipsed the slapped together montage served up at the Academy Awards. The producers treated the segment like it was a reason to have Adele sing instead of honoring one of the longest running and most beloved movie franchises in history. That the Academy was more interested in recycling "Glee" fodder than acknowledging a true cinematic landmark tells you all you need to know about The Oscars.

While I didn't think much of the Academy tribute to 007, I kept thinking "this montage is using up too many clips they won't have any for the Bond tribute" not realizing that was the Bond tribute, your student's montage manages to miss all the humor and swinging sexiness of Bond films which made them so popular and distinguished them from the "kill and blow-em ups" that have since come and gone.

I read that the original plan was to get all the Bonds together for a reunion onstage. It fell apart after one or two of the Bonds refused, one of them said to be Connery.

You're right, this is way better than what the Academy peddled out on Sunday. These are greatly edited videos too, we might see this kid in the future for sure.
