Morin was his co-director on the groundbreaking film "Chronicle of a summer"(1961), that tried a new form of cinematic exploration of social reality. Edgar Morin created the term "cinéma vérité" in a text to describe their experiment. If you don\’t believe me, check out academic books. It is a very common mistake, but somebody should tell Mr. Oppenheimer since he\’s a professor. Thanks.
