UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: REGENERATION was a surprisingly good actioneer, impressive what John Hyams did with a DTV budget and a non-shakey camera capturing the action. I actually would recommend it to people in general and not just to action fans.

I hear his sequel is insane.

Universal Soldier Regeneration is directed by John Hyams not Peter Hyams! So, Enemies Closer is the 3rd movie of Jean-Claude Van Damme with Peter Hyams.

Do we got to do this shit every time, bring up how it isn't art, we're not watching it for the acting, it's "dumb fun," "jeeze this looks interesting but woah hold I don't like it too much don't take it wrong I like you but not like you like you etc."

Jesus christ I've seen an action movie before okay. I was comfortable watching bloodsport when I was 10 and it's weird having to always read shitty film snob blog writing try to dance around admitting liking them. I guess it's better then Jagernauth's just straight up ignorance of the genre.
