I love the experimental nature of neo-Malick. love the cinematography, the music, the vibe, etc. what i can\'t get over is the sophomoric voice-overs and lack of enticing dialogue. my favorite scenes in The Thin Red Line were the dialogue scenes between Sean Penn and Jim Caviezel. i\'d rate this one better than To the Wonder but not as good as any of the others.
