Fuck Spike Lee. He has contributed so little to what actually constitutes good directing that he is actually insignificant himself. This is why this runt felt he had to trample over this poor news anchor's segment. Spielberg and Lucas have more talent in their pinkies than this asshole will ever have.

@JT his body of work pales in comparison to most other well-known directors regardless of effort put into his independent work.

Spike also paved the way for many "white" actors too. The beautiful thing about Kickstarter is that the rabid fundamentalists on this site can't stop people from adding their money to the project. I am headed over there to donate right now because money speaks louder than the nonsense you Spike haters are posting.

Not a big fan of the way Spike handles himself sometimes but criticizing his kickstarter is stupid. If people want t give him money why stop them? And the "he's taking money away from filmmakers who need it" is moronic since most people are funding the movie because its a Spike Lee joint. I doubt those people would give their donation to a smaller project if Lee was t on board.

The truth is any criticism of Spike Lee is actually a criticism of the people funding his movie. Why would anyone attack others for wanting to spend their money this way? They want to be a part of his new project. Good for them.

Actually, I think Spike is 100% here. I know his rhetoric pisses off a lot of people, but he has a right to get testy here based on the fact that they're setting him up with loaded questions and a loaded introduction.

It's kind of BS that he's getting attacked for this Kickstarter.
