I must weigh in with the editor/author: Guantanamo was a huge waste of potential…Edward is right about the presence of absurdity but the playout of the material just rendered it a disaster to me. Almost an example that the third can only improve from there (hopefully.)

talk about jumping the gun. buzz for this is through the roof. supposedly it\’s better than the original. and what\’s not to like about the trailer? it focuses on tone and the fourth wall rather than giving up the plot. don\’t let a minor sequel fog your opinion. this has hit written all over it.

Kevin, i love you, but this is a bit off. Guantanamo Bay is awesome stupid humor. Fun fucking movie, i laughed my balls off at some of the absurdity to it. Ed Helms and Rob Corddry are fucking amazing in it. Give it another spin.

I thought the write-up on this was pretty harsh. I recently watched \”Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay\” a second time and I remembered it not being good, but I actually thought it was pretty funny on second viewing.

I\’d also rather see John Cho and Kal Penn doing this sort of thing than Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms.

Also, I\’m a sucker for most any Christmas movie though, so I\’m biased in that way.

I too enjoyed Guantanamo Bay, wasn\’t as good as the original but Cordry was pretty incredible in it.

That said, this looks awful. What did they shoot this on?
