I agree with Benxpete who agrees with Jonathan. Both "Clerks" and "Clerks II" have funny and relatable characters, but "Clerks II" had an emotional arc that really affected me.

I remember watching this when it came out. It\’s heresy to say in most circles, but I prefer "Clerks 2" to "Clerks." I honestly think it\’s the better film. It\’s actually got something to say, and it says it well. It\’s an emotional film. It showed Smith\’s growth as a storyteller. I love "Clerks," but I really love "Clerks 2."

to mr steve…….these articles are appreciated…just a suggestion youre probably too defensive to take but you should strive to be able to understand how people can appreciate something you dont….not everything irrelevant to you is irrelevant….i have watched clerks but never this extar and would possibly of never known about it….js
