I think to compare it to Law Abiding Citizen understates exactly how moronic and terrible that film is. But this still looks shit.

My favorite moment: Liam Neeson asking Crowe "Are you prepared to leave your child at a gas station?" cut against... Crowe leaving his child at a gas station.

As the jail break is 3 or more years after her conviction I figured he had been trying to use the legal system. It's clear from the trailer that she tried to commit suicide so I would assume that's what makes him decide to get her out.

It looks like pretty good to me, and though I know Neeson's part is small, Crowe and Neeson together in a movie, fantastic!

It's been such a shitty summer for movies I can't wait for Fall and this one looks very enjoyable.

I wondered why he just doesn't use the legal system to free her from her wrongful conviction, but then I realized this was a Paul Haggis film and asking for logic from one of those is like asking for the sky to rain cheese.

It does look much better than it should. Maybe she's actually convicted, which would make the absurd premise somewhat easier to swallow.
