The indelible acting moment for me was in 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' where he absolutely owned the movie as Freddie Miles. Matt Damon was a relatively new face and was sure to make people remember him, but I left that movie thinking "I'm going to keep tabs on that OTHER guy…is that Scotty J? Wow…"

Oh and he undoubtedly should have won the Oscar for THE MASTER, not to mention DOUBT

He played such a sniveling, entitled little shit. When he starts waffling about ID'ing the guy and goes on about his contact lenses, I just wanted to punch him through the screen.
