Maybe if he'd found someone to arrange the Forrest Gump theme by Alan Silvestri in the baroque-jazz Mothersbaugh style it could have been cooler.
Oh wait….what if they made Forest Gump into an 8-bit video game??
Or had Forest meet Star Wars characters…but in an office?
Or made a supercut of all the times Forest blinks?

It's *exactly* what he's complaining about, not an exception.

Sorry, but Paquet should aim his resources and his obvious skill at making something more about himself and less about a filmmaker who needs no more homages or imitators. And I don't mean a series recreating all of Tarantino's trunk shots.
