@ Kevin: Have you seen the film? Your strong opinion leads one to believe you have actually given it a chance, but that might not be so, correct? What\’s up with haters these days? No constructive reviews, just nasty comments about other people\’s work. I\’m not defending the film, but I am just so sick of know-it-alls-sorry-for-their-boring-lives film critics, who are unable to keep an open mind.

@Emily: Curious from your comment, how you would construct a film by not telling one story. Silly comment, no? Besides – film is art and art shall provoke, no?

There is a difference between making a film about the controversy behind Shakespeare\’s authorship and speculating on the numerous theories behind it, and flat-out claiming Shakespeare was a fraud and the Earl of Oxford wrote his work. This should be an open film with various interpretations, not a \”No, this is how it really happened!\” one, where they keep hitting you in the head with the idea that we are so naive and the whole world was cheated. Emmerich, stop using cheap tricks just because you\’ve run out of ideas.
