While I'm not that big a fan of TMI, TID is an absolutely wonderful series, and I can't wait to see a film adaption! It isn't cheesy nor predictable at all, and the characters all seem so raw and real, not always good and heroic, but human, as they make the wrong decisions sometimes as well. I think YA novels should stop portraying their characters as amazing do-gooders who succeed at their every endeavor, and take a glance at real life.
