lmao since when was gerald butler a more likable lead then the guy who had four hits last year? Three of them which earned more than $100,000. Pretty sure at this point in Gerald butlers career he would kill for anything Channing has. And even if the trailer is being hyped up, pretty sure with the prime June opening and how much Channing's cred has gone up, this will be a hit.

Dayumn, but Roland Emmerich is gifted at this kind of thing. I just rewatched 2012 recently and it's amazing how he can control a story on a HUGE scale while also focusing on tiny moments of humanity. Okay, his movies are broad and goofy, but it's by very careful design. I think he's our era's Douglas Sirk, a German mad genius making campy mainstream films that seem stupid, but which will be looked at with a great deal more respect in a few decades.
