…interesting point made by Tim. But I would say that Hannibal is a horror series based on the original ideas by Thomas Harris. The acting is great and it\’s much more intelligent than Saw. I\’m not sure how much of a prequel it is (having \’Manhunter\’ in my mind).
We\’ll see about Saul, won\’t we? : )

Could have done without the snarky empty aside at Boardwalk Empire. The last season of that show started off on the wrong foot but all came together in the end. Sometimes on Playlist can\’t a link to a trailer just be a link to a trailer.

I have no idea why you\’re fascinated by Hannibal. It\’s a cheap knock-off of a burned out franchise. It\’s gratuitously violent, trivial and boring. Boardwalk Empire might be the most original piece of fiction, but it\’s a sprawling and cinematic gangster epic. Hannibal feels like a glorified b-movie, far more like Saw and Hostel than The Silence of the Lambs, The Shining or Twin Peaks which you make it out to be.
