I was glad to see a healthy dose of Prometheus anticipation here for the last few months and now because of the too-many-to-dignify Blade Runner leads and the chance to get inside Hollywood with the McCarthy "leak", it's being forgotten about? Fickle times, these.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool too. I wouldn't mind it being in the film at all. Guy Pearce is pretty much always great.

yeah, i can dig that. maybe this is just the start of the viral marketing campaign and the film itself takes place a little later. eleven years seems a bit short to imagine all the tech needed to proceed on that mission, but what do i know. at any rate, it seems like a cool way to get people talking.

Agree, I think this is pretty damn cool. Guy Pearce doing a TED talk as Weyland with the haughty gravitas of a would-be imperator. It's awesome.

the video reveals the Peter Weyland's speech happens in 2023, doesn't necessarily mean that's when the film begins.
