I know that offends the so-called critics, but it\’s true. McCarthy\’s words are guarded because he doesn\’t want the backlash, but it\’s what he\’s getting at. You know things are bad when you see the same thing every time on the web: the Alonso Duraldes of the world trying to be first to publish on RottenTomatoes with self-satisfied pun-filled blurbs, and the self-important YouTube attention whores like Tony Zhou making videos only about popular and beloved films that have high RT or Metascores so they can feed their ego/vanity and get more subscribers and views.
