At least he keeps trying. I hope that someday his ambition will be rewarded. Yes, he’s been indulgent,
as many young filmmakers can be, but I’m betting he’s learning his lessons as he goes. I still hold out hope that FOX has learned that Ridley Scott is creatively out of gas and that Blomkamp might just be able to reinvigorate the Alien franchise as a young James Cameron–to whom Blomkamp was briefly compared–did in 1986.

Or heck, just give us the doggone sequel to D9.
