I feel like focusing so much on the backstory is a step in the wrong direction when it comes to casual fans. I think they need to focus more on the happenings on Earth.
Right now I\’m expecting this to make Fantastic Four money. If they moved it to August (which is fairly empty), it might have a better chance but there are too many other movies coming out around it and I think it\’s going to be the film that gets lost.

The CG doesn\’t look any worse or less convincing to my eye than the CG of LOTR or Harry Potter.

Reynolds looks exactly like Gil Kane\’s Silver Age Hal Jordan, right down to the white irises when he puts on his mask.
