"Basically, it's a must for von Trier fans and for anyone who wants to see the filmmaker while so young, and still filled with the provocative nature that would inform his later films."

Still filled with the provocative nature? I think you'll find he still is.
I mean what's more provocative in a world where celebrity culture is an obsession for many, a world where interviews, conversations and diatribe are all available 24/7 with new footage recorded in multiple formats every day, for every medium.

Perhaps it is most provocative to say no to all of that, to shun the idea of visible celebrity, to push one's work forwards instead and say "no longer will I be the face of my work, for the work and the artist are separate."

Any potential artists out there: take a step back and you might learn something.
Any potential 'stars' out there: carry on, business as usual, get your balls out for the cameras.
