this is not very good. i like Wright\’s work, but this is just boring artifice. standard, commercial stuff. looks like it was written/edited by an executive marketing team. maybe if Wong Kar Wai had directed this it would have been interesting.

Why not just cut to the chase and put a pretty boy in make-up doing the same thing? It\’s what they really want anyway.

too long. i got bored about half way through. And for a Chanel ad (even if it\’s perfume) she\’s wearing the most non-descript and bland outfit throughout the whole thing. The most interesting part of her entire look was the purple necklace you saw for about 2 seconds.

People are allowed to express their opinions, good or bad, about a commercial. Lighten up.

Plus, I agree, it seems like a lot of wasted energy and scenery for a fragrance.

Nice, but there are a lot of wasted shots and space. I think of the other one, the Chanel #5 commercial with Audrey Tautou – directed by her Amelie and Long Engagement director Jean-Pierre Jeunet – and how it used each and every frame so beautifully.
